Covid Sucks

After an entire pandemic of successfully avoiding Covid-19 like the literal plague that it is—I finally fell prey to it a week and a half ago. I finished my summer vacation so weak that I couldn’t even draw. Even that was just too physically exhausting.

As with much of my life, catching Covid had a strange synergy for me. The onset of symptoms dumped upon me during a two hour session at my iPad, drawing a page for Staff-Master. It wasn’t just any page however—it was a page that had a lot of coughing in it. It was part of a dark bit of nerdy humor, but coughing nonetheless. By the time I was ready to start coloring the page, I was too weak from real life coughing.
